This has been irking me for awhile. No clue as to why..

Do you ever get.. um.. selfish? I guess that’s the word.. Selfish with.. your favorite artists? I get that way.. often.

I’ve been a Lupe fan since sophomore/junior year of high school. My boy Chris first put me onto him + his Happy Industries track back then and I’ve been in love ever since. I tried to put people onto him back then and no one wanted to listen. Then soon enough he dropped Kick, Push + every one of my friends labeled him as the “skateboard guy” and kept it moving. Now all of a sudden everybody wants to hop on his scrotum. I don’t have a (big) problem with it, but it’s like I get that strange feeling like… “He was my favorite rapper first. Wtf do you REALLY know about Lupe (besides Superstar..)?”

So I felt that strange feeling again last night. My boy asked if I ever heard Wale’s track Nike Boots… You serious? Wale is definitely one of my favorite rappers + anyone who really knows me (or reads my blog enough) knows that for a fact. So he went on about how a mutual friend of ours wanted a ringtone made from that song and how the song is hot. He just heard it.. etc etc. I just looked at him, agreed, and then added that the song is extremely.. old. I know the video just dropped recently and he’s finally getting the shine he deserves, but I still feel this urge of selfishness. Like.. leave him alone. He’s mine lol. I own every mixtape. I listen to him on repeat for hours. Do you? Watch.. Drake is gonna be next =/

I’m infatuated with this guy.. His name is Bill. Bill is so… pretty. Not handsome, not sexy.. Pretty.

Yeah.. That’s Bill. He’s the lead singer of Tokio Hotel. His brother’s kinda pretty, too. A bit less feminine, but pretty nonetheless. Actually, Odalis pointed out that Bill looks like her room Gia from freshman year. True, but scary…

Anyway, Christmas wasn’t so bad. Spent it with my family + the bestie stopped by (yay =]). She bought me a purple scarf. I was extra souped lol. I ♥ purple, so yeah.. Thanks, Dali! And my aunt.. Man.. My aunt made some yummy ass Mohinga + homemade eggrolls.

My cousin James + his family stopped by. I haven’t seen them in YEARS. His sons are so.. big. His oldest, Vince, is 10 now. I still remember getting sent baby pictures of that boy. And now he’s all tall + spitting out random facts.. (“Did you know that 1 chicken nugget is 100 calories?”… Wth, Vince?? Lol). Jericho was coolin.. Good job. And his youngest, Niko, was busy attacking my Supras with his action figure. Son.. I just bought those =/

I didn’t get to talk to my babe like I wanted to. I had to make due with texts =(. It’s cool. At least I know he was still thinking about me. Christmas was still pretty solid, though. Now time for me to get to these presents. Got 4 other pairs of Supras to lace up… And I kinda have to do laundry, too. Blah =/
