I spent the weekend with my fam at my aunt’s house. On Saturday my cousin Jazz and his girlfriend started arguing over who could make a better gingerbread house. Of course she and I agreed that females were far more creative than males. His older sis Sara got the idea to really have a “contest” on who could make the best gingerbread house today. Sounded fun.

So we spent all afternoon at craft stores trying to get everything we needed. Finally after getting back to the house.. annoying the mess out of those Mormons who came by (“You guys can sure talk about football for awhile can’t you?” lol! Damn right!) and damn near falling asleep through that movie about um.. Joe Smith?… yeah.. lol.. We finally started making the houses.

My concept was to make the Rutgers Football Stadium. Idk. It seemed easy. At first I was gonna make it a Mardi Gras theme. Have a gingerbread girl standing on the balcony flashing some gingerbread men below lol. I didn’t feel like being that detailed, though. So RU stadium it was.

LMAO! I just said fuck it after awhile and started throwing sprinkles everywhere lol. But the football looks nice. And so did the “R” before I put the frosting & sprinkles on it lol

So yeah.. I quit on my project. Oh well, it was getting too annoying lol.

And while I was at the store, I picked these up for my bestie Quentin. Yes, I’m spoiling him, but oh well.

Soooo I’m making him a picture frame and it’s going to have a picture from his probate in it. I’m also making an “Alpha Train”. Clever right? I knoooow lol.

Of course they aren’t painted yet, but I actually took a break from painting to put up this blog post, so uh “T-Rex” can stop coming on here asking me where the pictures of my gat ass gingerbread house are lol.

Good times.. Good eff’n times.

I went up to Rutgers this weekend for the AΦA Step Show and After Party. The step show was cool. I ran into a lot of people I haven’t seen in weeks.. months.. years.. I went with Teresa and sat with some of my girls. Eventually a number of those men in Blue and White joined us. The Alphas won.. I think the Deltas and Zetas tied. I still believe that Under Pressure (repping ΦΒΣ) got cheated! Conspiracy!! Lol. I won’t lie.. That Alpha team did their thing (even though a few little birdies told me part of their routine was stolen from a past Sigma routine), but Under Pressure did better IMO. *sigh* Oh well.. I’ll see yall at Step Correct =]

Now the after party? Maaaan.. Shit was crazy. We went straight from the step show so we wouldn’t get caught in that long ass line. Thank you Ja for letting us borrow the car. Lord knows I was NOT going to take that shuttle lol.. Oh.. And shoutouts to.. a certain Alpha who shall remain nameless who gave me a stamp to say I was 21.. Whoo. You made my night lol. The bartender probably thought I was an alkie as many times as I went to get Long Island Iced Teas.. Truth be told, I was getting them for other people. I bought like 6 or 7 (not with my money of course..) and only had one and half (the half because a certain Kappa knocked my drink out my hand.. I’m still waiting on my $6 lol), but I definitely had some Peach Red & Superior in the car beforehand. Can we say bodied anyone? =/ I wasn’t acting reckless. Never. More so I was just a little more.. extroverted than usual. Bianca swears she never saw me dance so much. I was just happy.. That’s all lol.

I had some people stalking me most of the night.. I was dippin’ and dodgin’ behind my friends apparently. Met some cool people. Bianca’s cousin and her roommate were hilarious. Had random dudes walking past me and caressing my face.. like that was the normal thing to do… Alright.. Ran into people I hadn’t since since about sophomore or junior year of high school. That party just had a great feel to it. Too bad they started shooting as soon as the party was over. Smh.

I’ve been busy trying to get all these damn gifts done before I head up to Rutgers this weekend. I promised my bestest Quentin after he crossed that I would have his stuff finished by the time the Alpha Step Show came around. I also told my boy Edwin that I’d make him a tiki to wear down at school (WVU) by Thanksgiving.

Welp, Thanksgiving has passed.. the show is this weekend and I have still yet to finish. It’s not my fault, though. None of the AC Moore stores I’ve been to had any wooden A’s. How am I supposed to make gifts for brothers of ΑΦΑ without any A’s?

Whatever. I’ve been making due with what I had and have been documenting the process with my Blackberry. Take a look =]

And these are the beginnings of the tiki I’m making for Edwin. He’ll get it.. uh.. over Winter break when he comes back home. It’s far from done and I’m still lacking the A’s I need to finish it anyway. Ugh.

And now that I think about it.. I need an A to finish this KAΨ tiki I promised a friend of mine.. I’m gonna need AC Moore to get it together =/ If anyone has any A’s to donate me, let me know =(
